Andrew Brothers joined PBMares in 2021 and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Partner. He has 15 years of public accounting experience, providing tax services to the firm’s construction, real estate, and not-for-profit clients.
Knowing how important reliable accounting and tax advice is to the success of every business, Andrew is passionate about advising his clients on the front end with proper tax planning and guidance on business growth.
He enjoys assisting clients throughout the business lifecycle, beginning with the processes taken in starting the business, through business growth, payroll, tax compliance, tax planning, and ending with retirement and succession planning.
Andrew’s areas of concentration include individual income tax, business tax matters, software implementation, and business advisory services.
Over the last decade, he served as treasurer for the NC Seafood Festival, served on the First Baptist Church Audit Committee, and as treasurer for Morehead City Makos Baseball.
In his leisure time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Taylor and two children, Parker and Peyton, and looks forward to fishing off the Crystal Coast and teeing it up at the Morehead City Country Club.
